A Storehouse for Jesus Endowment

A visionary member of the community established A Storehouse for Jesus Endowment in 2007. Since that time, the endowment has grown to more than $25,000 through gifts and earnings.

Gifts to the endowment fund may be made:

• Directly to the Davie Community Foundation, PO Box 546, Mocksville, NC 27028 (A Storehouse for Jesus noted in the memo section)


• Directly to A Storehouse for Jesus, PO Box 216, Mocksville, NC 27028 (Endowment fund noted in the memo section)

• Gifts may also be made in honor or memory and will be acknowledged to the specified person.


• In addition, gifts to the endowment may be made by bequest.

Will Language

The following is suitable for inclusion in the will of a donor who wishes to leave a bequest to the Davie Community Foundation, Inc. for A Storehouse for Jesus Endowment.

I devise to the Davie Community Foundation, Inc., a North Carolina nonprofit corporation ___________________ (describe devise - for example, "One Thousand Dollars" or "all of the residue of my estate" or "X percent of my estate") to be used in all furtherance of the charitable purposes of the Community Foundation as defined in and subject to the provisions of its Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws.

This devise will be added to A Storehouse for Jesus Endowment Fund administered by the Community Foundation. I direct that the amount of the gift that is available according to the Foundation's spending policy be used to support A Storehouse for Jesus.

You may also choose to name a separate fund in your name and direct its distributions to A Storehouse for Jesus. If the gift is $5,000 or greater, the following wording is suitable.

I devise to the Davie Community Foundation, Inc., a North Carolina nonprofit corporation ___________________ (describe devise - for example, "One Thousand Dollars" or "all of the residue of my estate" or "X percent of my estate") to be used in all furtherance of the charitable purposes of the Community Foundation as defined in and subject to the provisions of its Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws.

This devise will be used to establish a component fund to be known as the _______________________________ Fund. I direct that the amount of the Fund that is available according to the Foundation's spending policy be used to support A Storehouse for Jesus.
